Episode 101. The Power of Financial Education for Children with Little Dreamers Publishing LLC

Nidia, Nadia, and Nayeli Merino are three sisters and a first-generation Mexican immigrant family who immigrated to the United States in 1991.
They share with us some of their story and how the hard work and tenacity of their parents, allowed them to get an education, and how they support communities to thrive and improve their socio-economic conditions.

Little Dreamers is a publishing company that wants to inspire children through bilingual books that represent their culture. Their mission is to help children of color increase their exposure to STEM, art, culture, and financial literacy.

By their financial literacy bilingual books, they want to help children of color build healthy money habits at an early age.

This initiative was born because of their personal situation as a first-generation immigrant family. They understood that building financial literacy at an early age is key to building healthy relationships with money and building generational wealth.
